Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) has been named one of the country’s ‘Best Workplaces for Women’ by global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work (GPTW).
The title builds on QAL’s positive workplace culture, having already been formally recognised as a Great Place to Work four times due to consistent positive results in the most recent GPTW Trust Index™ survey.
Queensland Airports Limited CEO Amelia Evans said she was incredibly proud of the achievement.
“This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where people of all genders can thrive,”
"Aviation has traditionally been an industry with a higher ratio of males than females which is why I am especially proud as the CEO of an airport that can inspire and represent the many incredible women who now make up more than 44% of our team, including at a leadership level.
The latest Great Place to Work survey results highlight QAL’s strong workplace culture, with 81% of female employees agreeing QAL is a great place to work, 87% feeling encouraged to balance work and personal life, and 94% confident they can take time off when needed.
“Providing flexibility to our team is an important part of QAL’s culture and we strive to support all team members, regardless of their role, in balancing their professional and personal lives."
