RAP and Cultural Heritage

At QAL, a commitment to reconciliation is embedded in our purpose to “connect people, places and communities”.

We are excited to progress our reconciliation journey with this Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which is our first RAP of any type. This is a way to live our purpose and to learn more about how we can support inclusiveness and reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We believe inclusiveness makes us stronger – celebrating difference, valuing every perspective and empowering one another.

The RAP formalises our organisational commitment to work towards reconciliation and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the regions in which we operate, regardless of changes in our team, management or ownership. We want to use the RAP process to help us better understand how we can work more systematically towards reconciliation at our airports and what role QAL can play in Australia’s broader reconciliation process.
