Airport Ambassadors

Since 2016, the Gold Coast Airport Ambassador Program has been delivering exceptional customer service to passengers and visitors at Gold Coast Airport. Designed to create a welcoming environment, our friendly and dedicated team help make each passenger’s journey seamless and enjoyable.

Our Ambassador Team

The GCA Ambassador team has doubled from 30 volunteers to over 60.  Positioned at information desks and throughout the terminal, they provide helpful information on everything from terminal facilities, general wayfinding, transport options, and more.

Gold Coast Airport AmbassaPAWS Therapy Dog Program

In 2018, the program expanded to include volunteer therapy dogs, launching the GCA AmbassaPAW initiative.  Travel can often be stressful, but our team of seven lovable therapy dogs are here to offer comfort and support.  The program was created to help ease travel-related anxiety for all passengers, including those with hidden disabilities.

Each of our AmbassaPAW therapy dogs undergoes a rigorous selection process and expert training in partnership with Found by the Hound, a local organisation dedicated to preparing dogs for public environments. Together, we ensure that our furry ambassadors are well-equipped to navigate the busy airport environment safely and comfortably, spreading oy and reassurance to passengers of all ages.
