Gold Coast Airport recently celebrated the official opening of the $100 million terminal redevelopment, which was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. This is the largest single investment in tourism infrastructure by Gold Coast Airport since securing the lease from the Federal Government in 1998.

QAL is also dedicated to regional community development. As a group we are passionate about finding innovative ways to achieve sustainable passenger growth that will not only benefit shareholders but also the regional communities we serve, our environment and business partners.

This is demonstrated through our sponsorship investment, which spans community based events and initiatives (including Townsville Greek Festival and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Animal Hospital) to major events attracting inbound visitation to benefit the state-wide tourism industry (including Gold Coast Airport Marathon and Mount Isa Rodeo).
