Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) is a regional airport specialist with an emphasis on creating significant regional airport development in Queensland and northern New South Wales. QAL is a 100% Australian owned, Queensland based company and owns and operates Gold Coast, Townsville, Mount Isa and Longreach Airports. QAL has been operating key regional airports in Queensland since 1998.

As part of its portfolio of aviation support businesses, QAL owns AVIEX (an aircraft maintenance and painting operation) based in Townsville, and Aviation Ground Handling (AGH) which has a significant presence at Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast Airports.

As part of its portfolio of aviation support businesses, QAL owns the Northern Australian Aerospace Centre of Excellence (NAACEX) in Townsville.

Australia’s newest aviation business park is a high security, fully serviced General Aviation Precinct and Business Park located at Townsville Airport. NAACEX accommodates the future growth of aviation and aviation support industries (both commercial and defence) for Australia and South East Asia.
