Hastings Funds Management Limited (Hastings) is a specialist manager of infrastructure, private equity and high yield investments with more than A$5 billion in funds under management.
Hastings provides the investment community with direct access to infrastructure assets such as airports, tollroads, seaports, gas and electricity transmission, water utilities and timber.

Australian Infrastructure Fund
Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIX) is one of Australia’s leading diversified transport infrastructure funds. It combines Australian Infrastructure Fund Trust and Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited.
AIX’s primary objective is to offer investors returns, through cash yield and capital growth, by actively managing a portfolio of transport infrastructure assets for the medium to long term. AIX’s strategy is to:
- focus on transport infrastructure, in particular, airports;
- actively manage the asset portfolio and pursue value accretive organic growth opportunities;
- seek quality investments to add value for securityholders, maintaining a disciplined acquisition approach;
- work closely with technical partners;
- fund distributions from cash flows, having regard to expansionary capital opportunities; and
- continue to maintain sustainable asset and portfolio gearing.
The Infrastructure Fund
Hastings, as manager of The Infrastructure Fund/The Infrastructure Fund B (TIF / TIFB), seeks to accumulate a quality infrastructure asset portfolio with the aim of providing investors with:
- capital growth complemented by cash yield;
- a stable band of total return; and
- a moderate risk profile.
The Infrastructure Fund’s benchmark return is 8.75 percent per annum after fees and implied superannuation tax. TIF/TIFB combined comprises The Infrastructure Fund (TIF) and The Infrastructure Fund B (TIFB), which owns the assets. Hastings is the Trustee and Manager of TIF and TIFB.
